A versatile LED strip

LIMENTE RIBBON IP44 B is an efficient led strip with LEDs very close to each other (180 LEDs / m). You can use RIBBON either in a kitchen as working light or as indirect light behind mirrors, in plinths, in ceilings, and in any space. where the light source needs to be as invisible as possible. LIMENTE RIBBON can be shortened to a desired length at 3,3 cm intervals. The light is stylish and continuous as well as pleasantly even especially when installed on LIMENTE LIGHT PROFILE.

LIMENTE RIBBON IP44 B comes with quality LEDs with a color rendering index of Ra> 85, an efficiency of 80 lm/W, a luminosity of 1080lm/m and a color temperature of about 4000K (small color temperature differences may vary by production batches).

In addition to LIMENTE RIBBON IP44 B, LIMENTE RIBBON is available in two different IP44 versions: the LUX collection version LIMENTE RIBBON IP44 LUX (IP44, Ra>90, 3000K and 4000K) and the color temperature adjustable CCT version LIMENTE RIBBON IP44 CCT (IP44, Ra>80, 2700K-6000K). The led strip is also available as an IP20 version: LIMENTE RIBBON IP20 (IP20, Ra>80, 3000K and 4000K) for indirect lighting.

LIMENTE RIBBON IP44 B is available in standard lengths of 2 and 4 meters. There is a 5cm + 300cm long power cord at each end of the fixture. An extension cord (3m, no. 681588) can be ordered, in case a longer power cord is needed. Extension cords can be fitted with a maximum on 1 pcs of fixtures, with a maximum cord length of up to 6m. A power supply cable at both ends of the fixture enables LIMENTE RIBBON IP44 B to be used as two separate lights.

To use LIMENTE RIBBON, you’ll need a suitable 24V power supply. Compatible products are mentioned alongside the product. The profile, the led strip and the power supply are also sold separately. N.B.! The power supply must be ordered separately.

Dimming and lightcontrol

Appropriate lighting for any occasion is made easy with our dimming and lighting control system. You can easily change the lighting and ambience in your home from efficient and bright to dim and cozy by dimming your LIMENTE RIBBON IP44 B with our wireless system. You can use the same switch to adjust all the LIMENTE lights in the room, including various ceiling, panel and profile lights. The light adjusts smoothly at the same time while creating ambience for working, entertaining or any mood in between.

LIMENTE RIBBON IP44 B is dimmable either with LIMENTE SMART CLASSIC, LUXUS ja GREENLINE SERIES 24V dimmer (no. 640540) and wireless wall switches (no. 640541, 640542, 640544, 640546 and 640547). The dimmer is installed between the power supply and the fixture. The dimmer includes a similar manifold to the one included in the power supply. You can connect up to 6 LIMENTE lights to one dimmer, as long as the maximum load (W) of the power supply is not exceeded.

LIMENTE RIBBON IP44 B is also dimmable with a Dali driver (LEDDALI100). The driver is controlled by either a 240 V Dali controller or a push button switch, utilizing the "Push Dim" function.

Installation

LIMENTE RIBBON IP44 B is fast and easy to install.

The power supply cable is put in place (e.g. hidden behind a cabinet) so that the male connector comes close to the power supply and the female connector comes near the RIBBON led strip. Remove the double-sided tape from the light strip and press onto the profile. Finally, connect the power supply cable to the light strip and to the power supply. All electrical connections are done with quick connectors.

LIMENTE RIBBON should always be installed on a heat conducting surface, such as the LIMENTE LIGHT PROFILE, to guarantee the lifetime of the LED’s. When using the profile, it’s possible to install LIMENTE RIBBON for example under a drying cabinet. The profile also includes a matte protective glass diffuser, which makes the light even and continuous. In any case, make sure the surface is clean and dry before attaching the led strip.
