A versatile IP-20 LED strip and driver

LIMENTE PRO strips are part of the LIMENTE PRO collection, where the product's lifespan and technical features, such as color rendering, are optimized to the highest standard. In addition to kitchen task lighting, PROCOM LED strips are used for indirect lighting—for example, behind mirrors, in toe kicks, furniture, ceilings, and anywhere a discreet, near-invisible light source is desired. Especially when installed in a LIMENTE PROFILE, the light is pleasantly uniform and smooth. The standard lengths for the Limente PROCOM LED strip are 3 m and 5 m, with a luminous flux of 1380 lm/m, a density of 128 LEDs per meter, and a selectable color temperature of either 3000 K or 4000 K.

As a standard, both ends of the strips are equipped with a 3 cm + 200 cm long cable. If this is not sufficient, you can order an extension cable (3 m), product number 681588. A maximum of one extension cable can be connected per fixture cable, bringing the maximum total length to five meters. The power supply cables at both ends allow the LED strip to be utilized in two separate parts. This minimizes waste and enables the strip to be installed in two different directions from the power supply. Additionally, you can create a power connection for a PRO-series LED strip by ordering a power supply connector (sold separately). The connector features a 50 mm cable and a TOP connector. This power supply connector is used when utilizing a cut section of the LED strip that does not have a pre-installed power feed.

The PROCOM LED strip must be used with a compatible 24 V power supply. Suitable options are listed alongside the products. Aluminum profiles and LED strips are also available separately.

Dimming and lightcontrol

By adjusting the lights, it is easy to create appropriate lighting for different occasions. By dimming LIMENTE LED-strip you can change your home’s lighting from efficient and bright to dim and cosy. You can use the same switch to adjust all the LIMENTE lights in the room, including various ceiling-, panel- and profile lights. The lamps adjust smoothly at the same time, while simultaneously changing the ambience of the space.

LIMENTE PRO LED-strip is dimmable either with LIMENTE SMART CLASSIC, LUXUS ja GREENLINE series 24V dimmer (no. 640540) and wireless wall switches (no. 640541, 640542, 640543, 640544, 640546 and 640547). The dimmer is installed between the power supply and the fixture. The dimmer includes a similar manifold to the one included in the power supply. You can connect up to 6 LIMENTE lights to one dimmer, as long as the maximum load (W) of the power supply is not exceeded.

The LED-strip is also dimmable with a Dali driver (LEDDALI100). The driver is controlled by either a 240 V Dali controller or a push button switch, utilizing the "Push Dim" function.

Installation

Installing the LIMENTE PROCOM strip is quick and easy.

The power supply cable, which is often hidden (e.g., behind a cabinet), is positioned so that the male connector is near the power supply and the female connector is near the LED strip. Remove the protective film from the adhesive tape on the LED strip and press the strip into place. Finally, connect the power supply cable to both the LED strip and the power supply using the quick connectors.

LIMENTE PROCOM LED strips can be shortened at intervals of approximately 6 cm. Both ends of the LED strips feature a power feed, allowing you to utilize both ends separately if needed. PRO-series LED strips must always be attached to a heat-conductive material, such as the LED lighting profile available as an accessory. This ensures the promised lifespan of the LED strip. The profile also enables installation under a dish-drying rack, for example, and its matte cover (diffuser) makes the light more uniform. In all cases, ensure that the mounting surface is absolutely clean and dry before attaching the LED strip.
