Multifunctional and completely dot-free IP44 LED strip

The LIMENTE RIBBON IP44 DOB 8 mm LED strip is part of the LIMENTE RIBBON product family. The new DOB technology provides a completely dot-free light, which can be used in a profile even without a diffuser if desired. The RIBBON IP44 DOB is an efficient, trimmable LED strip with very closely spaced LEDs (288 LEDs / meter). In addition to kitchen task lighting, the strip is used as indirect lighting, for example, behind mirrors, in plinths, in furniture, in ceilings, and anywhere where the light source needs to be very discreet.

The standard lengths for LIMENTE RIBBON DOB are 2, 3, and 4 meters. The LED strip can be shortened to the desired length approximately every 3 cm, allowing for various customized solutions. The DOB model uses only the best components as standard, offering excellent efficiency, nearly perfect colour rendering (the colours of the illuminated object appear as natural as possible), and a colour temperature of either 3000K or 4000K.

The LED strip comes standard with a fixed 5 cm wire and a separate 300 cm wire at both ends. If this is not sufficient, you can order an extension cord (3 m), product number 681588. A maximum of one extension cord can be connected per luminaire wire, which allows for a maximum wire length of up to 6 meters. The power supply wire at both ends allows the RIBBON to be used in two parts if needed. This way, you avoid unnecessary waste and can install the strip in two different directions from the power supply. The RIBBON strip must be used with a suitable 24 V power supply. Dimming and lightcontrol

A stepless dimmer makes it easy to create atmosphere and a new look for a space. By dimming LIMENTE lights, you can change your home's lighting from bright and efficient to dim and cozy. If you wish, you can use the same dimmer to control all LIMENTE lights in the room, including various ceiling, panel, and under-cabinet lights. The lights dim smoothly and pleasantly, changing the feel of the entire space.

LIMENTE RIBBON IP44 DOB is dimmable either with LIMENTE SMART CLASSIC, LUXUS ja GREENLINE series 24V dimmer (no. 640540) and wireless wall switches (no. 640541, 640542, 640543, 640544, 640546 and 640547). The dimmer is installed between the power supply and the fixture. The dimmer includes a similar manifold to the one included in the power supply. LIMENTE RIBBON IP44 DOB is also dimmable with a Dali driver (LEDDALI100). The driver is controlled by either a 240 V Dali controller or a push button switch, utilizing the "Push Dim" function.

Installation

Installation of the LIMENTE RIBBON IP44 DOB strip is quick and easy. The power supply cord, which is often hidden behind a cabinet, for example, is placed in position so that the male connector is close to the power supply and the female connector is close to the RIBBON DOB LED strip. The protective film is removed from the strip's tape, and the strip is pressed into the installation location. Finally, the power supply cord is connected to the LED strip and the power supply with quick connectors.

The RIBBON DOB can be shortened every 3 cm and has power leads at both ends, meaning you can use both ends separately if needed. The RIBBON DOB must always be attached to a heat-conducting material, such as the aluminum profile available as an accessory. This ensures that the LED strip achieves its promised lifespan. In all cases, make sure the mounting surface is absolutely clean and dry before you attach the LED strip.
