A versatile recessed profile fixture with completely dot-free LED strip

LIMENTE LILA DOB is a profile fixture for indirect lighting, which is especially pleasant when planning on illuminating via another surface. The fixture can be used e.g. in closets, when wanting to direct light toward the back wall of the closet. LILA is a recessed profile fixture, which is submerged into a surface. The profile is very small in size and, unlike other LIMENTE-profiles, LILA and LED-LILO use an 8mm led strip. LILA DOB is a versatile fixture for working light and mood light. The fixture can be shortened to a desired length. The light is stylish and continuous with no connection points interrupting the light, which provides even light throughout the area. The new DOB technology provides a completely dot-free light, which can be used in a profile even without a diffuser if desired.

LIMENTE LILA DOB is available in two different color temperatures (3000K and 4000K). The profile itself has a standard length of 2m and can be shortened to a desired length.

LIMENTE LILA DOB is available in standard lengths of 2 and 4 meters. The fixture can be shortened to a desired length at about 3 cm intervals. The luminaire offers excellent efficiency (up to 144 lm/W), near-perfect color rendering (CRI>90), a luminous flux of 1300 lm/m, and a color temperature of either 3000K or 4000K. All lighting values are specified for the LED strip without a cover. All technical values are given to the led strip without a diffuser.

To use LIMENTE LILA, you’ll need a suitable 24V power supply. Compatible products are mentioned alongside the product. The profile, the led strip and the power supply are also sold separately. N.B.! The power supply must be ordered separately.

Dimming and lightcontrol

A stepless dimmer makes it easy to create atmosphere and a new look for a space. By dimming LIMENTE lights, you can change your home's lighting from bright and efficient to dim and cozy. If you wish, you can use the same dimmer to control all LIMENTE lights in the room, including various ceiling, panel, and under-cabinet lights. The lights dim smoothly and pleasantly, changing the feel of the entire space.

LIMENTE RIBBON IP44 DOB is dimmable either with LIMENTE SMART CLASSIC, LUXUS ja GREENLINE series 24V dimmer (no. 640540) and wireless wall switches (no. 640541, 640542, 640543, 640544, 640546 and 640547). The dimmer is installed between the power supply and the fixture. The dimmer includes a similar manifold to the one included in the power supply. You can connect up to 6 LIMENTE lights to one dimmer, as long as the maximum load (W) of the power supply is not exceeded. Read more about dimming in PRODUCTS - LIGHT CONTROL

LIMENTE RIBBON IP44 DOB is also dimmable with a Dali driver (LEDDALI100). The driver is controlled by either a 240 V Dali controller or a push button switch, utilizing the "Push Dim" function.

Installation

LIMENTE LILA DOB is fast and easy to install with the installation tools included.

The power supply cable (to be hidden, e.g., behind a cabinet) is pre-positioned so that the male connector is near the power supply and the female connector is near the LILA profile. When installing, cut the profile into the desired length and attach in place with the installation tools and clips included. Remove the double-sided tape from the light strip and press onto the profile. Finally, connect the power supply cable to the light strip and to the power supply.

The power supply cable is put in place (e.g. hidden behind a cabinet) so that the male connector comes close to the power supply and the female connector comes near the LILA profile. A power supply cable at both ends of the fixture enables LILA DOB to be used as two separate lights. The fixture can be shortened to a desired length at about 3 cm intervals. There is a 5cm + 300cm long power cord at each end of the fixture. An extension cord (3m, no. 681588) can be ordered, in case a longer power cord is needed. Extension cords can be fitted with a maximum on 1 pcs of fixtures, with a maximum cord length of up to 6m. Please note the adequate length of the cord and the maximum load (W) of the power supply.
