A versatile light profile fixture with completely dot-free LED strip

LIMENTE LINEA DOB is a versatile light fixture suitable for either working light or mood light. The new DOB technology provides a completely dot-free light, which can be used in a profile even without a diffuser if desired. The fixture can be used in kitchen workspace but also to provide indirect lighting when placed above upper cabinets, in plinths, in ceilings or inside a wardrobe or any other space, where light is needed. In kitchen workspaces the fixture is installed near the front edge of the kitchen upper cabinet. LIMENTE LINEA DOB luminaires are available in two color temperatures (3000 K and 4000 K) and three colors (aluminum, black, and white). The length of the aluminum profile is always 2 m and it can be shortened to size.

LIMENTE LINEA DOB is available in standard lengths of 2 and 4 meters. The fixture can be shortened to a desired length at 3 cm intervals. A range of accessories, such as corner pieces, give the installation a stylish look. The corner pieces and mounting brackets are the same color as the chosen profile (aluminum, white, or black). LIMENTE LINEA comes with quality LEDs with a color rendering index of CRI>90, an efficiency of 144 lm/W, a luminosity of 1300 lm/m and a color temperature of about 3000 K tai 4000 K. All technical values are given to the led strip without a diffuser.

The LINEA DOB includes a 2-meter or 4-meter profile with accessories (corners, end caps, connectors, and mounting brackets), an LED strip, and a 1-meter cable trunking. A compatible 24 V power supply must be used with LINEA luminaires. Suitable options are listed alongside the products. If the dimensions of the ready-made set do not suit your project, you can also order the profile, LED strip, and power supply separately. NOTE! The power supply must always be ordered separately.

Dimming and lightcontrol

A stepless dimmer makes it easy to create atmosphere and a new look for a space. By dimming LIMENTE lights, you can change your home's lighting from bright and efficient to dim and cozy. If you wish, you can use the same dimmer to control all LIMENTE lights in the room, including various ceiling, panel, and under-cabinet lights. The lights dim smoothly and pleasantly, changing the feel of the entire space.

LIMENTE RIBBON IP44 DOB is dimmable either with LIMENTE SMART CLASSIC, LUXUS ja GREENLINE series 24V dimmer (no. 640540) and wireless wall switches (no. 640541, 640542, 640543, 640544, 640546 and 640547). The dimmer is installed between the power supply and the fixture. The dimmer includes a similar manifold to the one included in the power supply. You can connect up to 6 LIMENTE lights to one dimmer, as long as the maximum load (W) of the power supply is not exceeded. Read more about dimming in PRODUCTS - LIGHT CONTROL

LIMENTE RIBBON IP44 DOB is also dimmable with a Dali driver (LEDDALI100). The driver is controlled by either a 240 V Dali controller or a push button switch, utilizing the "Push Dim" function.

Installation

LIMENTE LINEA DOB is fast and easy to install with the installation tools included. The power supply cable (to be hidden, e.g., behind a cabinet) is pre-positioned so that the male connector is near the power supply and the female connector is near the lighting profile. The power supply cables at both ends of the LED strip allow the lighting profile to be used as two separate luminaires. The lighting profile can also be used at its full length (2 m or 4 m), in which case the power supply cable at one end is cut off.

The fixture can be shortened to a desired length at 3 cm intervals. There is a 5cm + 300cm long power cord at each end of the fixture. An extension cord (3m, no. 681588) can be ordered, in case a longer power cord is needed. Extension cords can be fitted with a maximum on 1 pcs of fixtures, with a maximum cord length of up to 6m. Please note the adequate length of the cord and the maximum load (W) of the power supply.

When installing, cut the profile into the desired length and attach in place with the installation tools and clips included. Remove the double-sided tape from the light strip and press onto the profile. Finally, connect the power supply cable to the light strip and to the power supply.
